If you make the LORD your refuge and the Most High your habitation there is a promise verse 10 of Psalm 121. That, no evil shall befall you, nor come near your dwelling because he will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways. It continued that, the angels will then lift you up so you will not dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
If you place your trust in the LORD, he will deliver you, protect you and when you call, he would answer. The next verse says God will be with you in trouble. This clears the issue that, life is not free of trouble but there is a guarantee when it comes. God promised to be with you in trouble, to rescue and honor you. Because, God is in charge, he has promised to satisfy you with long life and show you his salvation. The incredible promise proclaimed is an assurance that, God will guard and will be with you always.
